Multimedia training for African journalists

Are you a professional African photo/multimedia journalist and you value free international training and an incredible opportunity in the run-up to, and during, the FIFA World Cup in South Africa in 2010?

‘Twenty Ten: African media on the road to 2010 (and beyond)’ is an initiative of four organizations: Free VoiceWorld Press PhotoAfrica Media Online and lokaalmondiaal. Inspired by the 2010 FIFA World Cup and the media opportunities this has to offer, this project aims to give African journalists a voice, both on the  continent as well as worldwide. It offers African citizens the opportunity to experience their own view of reality, as opposed to depending on foreign news organizations. As part of this programme, 108 radio, print and photo journalists have already received training and have started delivering their products to the international markets. Now it's the turn of multimedia journalists.

Click here to find out more and to apply for selection on the TwentyTen multimedia training programme. The deadline for submission is 15 December - only four weeks away.
