Multimedia training for African journalists
Are you a professional African photo/multimedia journalist and you value free international training and an incredible opportunity in the run-up to, and during, the FIFA World Cup in
‘Twenty Ten: African media on the road to 2010 (and beyond)’ is an initiative of four organizations: Free Voice, World Press Photo, Africa Media Online and lokaalmondiaal. Inspired by the 2010 FIFA World Cup and the media opportunities this has to offer, this project aims to give African journalists a voice, both on the continent as well as worldwide. It offers African citizens the opportunity to experience their own view of reality, as opposed to depending on foreign news organizations. As part of this programme, 108 radio, print and photo journalists have already received training and have started delivering their products to the international markets. Now it's the turn of multimedia journalists.
